What if our customers would want to launch the AirStrato robot from remote areas, where a runway is not available? This is the reason for which we have created the Accelerator, a pneumatic launcher designed to allow both the Pioneer and Explorer to take-off in less than a second from virtually any place on the planet. Since the AirStrato has an on-board recovery parachute, the aircraft can also land without to use a runway.

The idea to use a launcher for unmanned aerial vehicles is not new, but our product is compact and beautiful, as it complements the AirStrato design. When AirStrato is on the Accelerator is a image to remember. The Accelerator uses an internal air compressor to push the piston with a thrust of 2,200 lbf (1000 kgf), which allows the AirStrator aircraft to reach take-off speed in less than a second.

The Accelerator is built from composite materials and it is designed to be easily assembled and the aircraft loading system allows the operator to mount the aircraft without the use of a crane or other equipment.

Compressed air will propel your AirStrato from 0 to 34 mph (55 km/h) in less than a second. What you need to do is to push the AirStrato motors to full thrust and press two buttons from the throttle. In a blink of the eye your robot is airborne. Everything without the need of a runway or even a flat strip of land. You can even launch your robot from the top of a hill, mountain, truck, or ship.

Thinking of tightening many screws and connecting cables? Think no more. The smart design allows you to assemble the Accelerator in 20 minutes. The Accelerator has only three parts. This also allows transportation to be done more easily. After you are ready for flight put the Accelerator's power cord in a 110 / 220 V power socket. Push a button and wait for six minutes until the internal canister reaches the necessary pressure.
