November 11, 2005-RM. VALCEA/LONDON-ONTARIO
During today press conference ARCA announced strategic partnership with PlanetSpace Canadian company.
By combining already-proven Canadian capabilities and Romanian innovative technical expertise, the two organizations hope to achieve new records in suborbital spaceflight.
“As we build PlanetSpace into a global organization, we welcome the strategic partnership with our Romanian friends, and together we can open this new business frontier,” said Dr. Chirinjeev Kathuria, Chairman of PlanetSpace.
“By joining forces with one of the leaders in private space exploration, we are certain that we will succeed in creating a reliable and efficient technology, as well as other exciting space flight projects,” commented Dumitru Popescu, President of ARCA.
“We are very excited in the potential this new partnership brings for both organizations. Together with ARCA, PlanetSpace is prepared to go further,” added in closing Geoff Sheerin, President of Canadian Arrow.

November 8, 2005 – RM. VALCEA
On November 11, 18:00 (local time), ARCA will organize a public event on it’s home town to present the ORIZONT vehicle and to inform the public and the press about the following:
* ARCA and a north American company (the name of this company will be disclosed Friday) will collaborate in the field of private space flight
* ARCA won a contract with the Research Ministry/Romanian Space Agency to create military application rocket system
* New technical achievements of our Team

October 6-9, 2005 – LAS CRUCES, New Mexico
ARCA Team participated at the X Prize CUP Countdown and other moments as International Symposium for Personal Spaceflight and Education Day. Even this year were not organized official competition flights, ARCA Team consider the event a success for the future of private space flight, as the participants established new contacts and new media opportunities. At the next year edition ARCA team will perform flights at an altitude of about 30 km. More photos.

October 4, 2005 - LAS CRUCES, New Mexico
As the hardware tests of the ORIZONT vehicle are underway, ARCA set the first automated test flight of the ORIZONT vehicle for May 2006 at an altitude of 30 km (100.000 ft). The primary objective is to test the reentry system of the vehicle. We seek to establish a strong foothold among X Prize Cup competitors.

August 27, 2005 - BUCHAREST
The first official presentation of the ORIZONT vehicle took place in the Constitution Place. For the first time, the general public and media was informed about this vehicle, the most important private European initiative in the field of manned space flight.Soon ARCA will organize a new presentation in Rm. Valcea and it will start a national and international tournament. We mention also for the next period the participation of some members of the team to the X Prize Cup event.The engine tests will start until the end of this year, and the public will have the opportunity to follow the tests more closely. The flight tests of the ORIZONT vehicle will start next year.

June 1, 2005 – RM. VALCEA
The construction of the ORIZONT vehicle entered in the final phase of the assembly process. One of our sponsors offered to ARCA an assembly and storage facility in order to successfully finish the assembly process. The first presentation of the ORIZONT vehicle will take place in Bucharest and we will publish in short time more data about this incoming event.

February 20, 2005 – BUCHAREST
The “Descopera” science magazine published a five pages article about the X Prize and ARCA. A copy of this material was sent to X Prize Foundation and to the featured teams.

January 12, 2005 – RM. VALCEA
At the end of last year ARCA decided not to publish pictures and data about ORIZONT vehicle until the official presentation which will take place in June 2005. Because of numerous requests from the public ARCA decided to publish some data and photo about ORIZONT vehicle. The characteristics and performances of the vehicle and the detailed photos will not be available until June.
