The A1A interceptor first launch was designated by ARCA as Mission 19.
The badge for Mission 19 depicts a triangle pointed up suggesting the interceptor’s rapid ascent, in which the warhead, depicted as a globe of projectiles, is deployed.
The badge contains also the mission number as well as the vehicle type, A1-A.
Only black and white were used for the badge, a theme found also in the A1 prototype markings.
