AMi, OVERVIEW

The AMiExploration program main take aways

Objective: 2033,  precious metals worth $1 billion from asteroid-mining

AMi Exploration is a twelve-year asteroid mining program that aims to unlock the largest source of wealth in history, through profitable asteroid mining.
We aim to return to Earth precious metals worth $1 billion from asteroid mining activities until 2033.

First mission: 2031, platinum worth $34 million

The AMi Exploration Program’s first asteroid mining mission will aim to return 1,000 kg of platinum. At current prices of around $34,000 per kilogram, that payload would convert into $34,000,000. However, the Recovery Capsule return capacity is up to 2,500 kg, which would be worth $85,000,000. It is our plan to increase the quantity of returned valuable ore with each flight.

Utility: purchase the precious metals using the AMiE tokens

Starting with 2029, the first ore will be brought to Earth.
The utility for the AMiE Token is linked to the fact that the token owners could use the tokens to purchase the ore, and other resources, like water from the asteroid mining activities developed under the AMi Exploration Program with priority. They will also be able to pay for the precious metals with 80% fiduciary money and 20% with the AMiE Token.

Technology: AMi Cargo and EcoRocket Heavy

EcoRocket Heavy is an ecological, reusable, unprecedentedly cost effective rocket, able to launch 24 tones to LEO, that will be used by ArcaSpace to launch the AMi Cargo asteroid mining vehicles.
The AMi Cargo is a 20 metric tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) vehicle that will be used for reconnaissance missions to identify potential mining targets and for actual asteroid mining operations.

Financial overview

ArcaSpace is committed to make the AMi Plan a reality.
We estimate that $100 million will be required between 2022 to 2029 to start the mining operations, while between 2029-2033 the spent amount will be $107 million, with this last amount covered from asteroid mining operations that are expected to start in 2029.
Therefore, a total of $207 million will be spent for the AMi Plan between 2022-2033, while expecting to get $1 billion from asteroid mining operations during the same time frame.

AMi Program budget sources

Amount from private sources vs revenue.png

Investment vs. revenue

  • $22,5 million - EcoRocket Heavy fabrication

  • $5 million - EcoRocket Heavy launch

  • $0.8 million - one AMi Cargo fabrication

  • $5.8 million - one mining mission

Giving back: $100 million for education, food, medical care, global warming prevention

We are going to spend part of the mining revenue to provide better medical care, education, improved living conditions for the people from poor areas of the world, and directly support new breakthroughs in science and technology.
