The ArcaBoard 2 was originally conceived as an elite product for the ultra-luxury market. Yet during its development, it became clear that its potential far exceeded personal ownership, it demanded a global platform to match its extraordinary performance.
Throughout history, every revolutionary vehicle has birthed a new era of sport. The ArcaBoard World Championship (ABWC) is that next leap.
Combining low-altitude, jet-like flight dynamics with extreme aerial maneuvers, ABWC brings together elite pilot-athletes in an intense, combat-style racing environment. Fusing raw physical precision with visuals straight out of futuristic video games, this is motor racing redefined.
The ArcaBoard World Championship is the first international competition featuring ArcaBoard 2 vehicles that hover above the ground at heights up to 2 metres, within lateral track limits, on dedicated or specially designed temporary urban circuits with a total length of approximately 40 kilometers.
In 2026 and 2027, we will bring together the teams, pilots, circuits, promoters, insurance companies, grid girls, marshals, global partners, local sponsors, who will participate in the inaugural ArcaBoard World Championship in 2028. Over the next two years, demonstration races will be organised alongside a global campaign to promote the ArcaBoard World Championship.
The inaugural season will feature 12 high-stakes races held exclusively at Cosmobase, each contested on a brand-new, custom circuit layout. The championship brings together 12 vehicles and drivers alongside reserve pilots, technical and executive teams, stewards, marshals, promoters, grid girls, and VIPs, delivering an unmatched fusion of glamour, cutting-edge technology, and modern motorsport thrill.
We are building this championship in a new technological era with a new type of vehicle.
Having the advantage of starting from scratch and being unbound by the need to preserve traditions, we are looking strictly towards the future, based on fan suggestions.
This offers freedom for creativity, something that hasn’t happened in motorsports in recent decades.
At the end of the season, two championships will be awarded: the Pilots' World Championship, which will be awarded to the best pilot, and the Teams' World Championship, which will be awarded to the most successful team.
Free Practice Session
The Free Practice Session (FPS) allow pilots and teams to get familiar with the track, fine-tune the ArcaBoard’s setups, in a non-competitive environment before qualifying.
Qualification Session
Before each race, a Qualifying Session is held. The fastest qualifier starts at the front of the grid, and the slowest starts at the back.
Racing
The race starts when the red lights go out, at which point the vehicles will lift off the ground and move forward on the circuit.
The pilots will seek to improve their position by overtaking other participants.
Overtaking can only be done from the side; overtaking above or below the vehicle in front is prohibited.
The vehicles will race at heights between 1 and up to 2 metres. If the pilot attempts to go higher than 2 metres, the vehicle will lose the ground effect quickly. Conversely, if the pilot attempts to go lower than 1 m to increase ground effect efficiency, they may incur a penalty. The vehicles are equipped with electronic devices that inform the pilot of their height.

Booster propulsion
The pilots have the option of activating booster propulsion to complete laps faster during qualifying and to encourage overtaking during the race.
This creates additional horizontal traction by activating a high-powered electric turbine, leading to an increase of speed with up to 20 km/h.
It can only be activated in designated areas of the circuit and only if the vehicle behind is less than 1 second behind the vehicle in front.

Pit stops for battery options
During the race, the pilots must perform four mandatory pit stops to change their battery sets. The battery sets are provided in two versions: Light and Heavy.
The Light battery set provides energy for a faster, albeit shorter stint, making it the optimal choice for qualifying, for example.
The Heavy battery set provides energy for a longer stint, but the vehicle is slower.
During optional pit stops, the teams could also change battery packs and damaged parts.

Points system
Points will be awarded to the top ten pilots, as follow:
1st place - 12 points
2nd place - 8 points
3rd place - 6 points
4th place - 4 points
5th place - 2 points
6th place - 1 point
An additional point is awarded to the pilot who achieves the fastest lap time, provided they finish in the top 6.
Podium ceremony
The pilots classified 1st, 2nd and 3rd and a representative of the winning team must attend the prize awarding ceremony on the podium.
Weather
Races could continue in rainy or snowy conditions unless the race control deems the conditions to be inappropriate for safe racing.
Communications
All ArcaBoard vehicles will be equipped with telemetry systems, transponders and live video cameras to monitor their position on the circuit.
All radio communications between the team and the pilot will be open and accessible to race officials and the media.
Sponsorships and liveries
Participation in the ArcaBoard World Championship will bring significant promotional and financial benefits to the competing teams and they will benefit from global media exposure and build their own fan bases - factors that are extremely attractive to their own brands and sponsors.
The teams are encouraged to secure sponsorship deals. The sponsors could have their logo placement on the team’s vehicles, with title sponsorship packages offering naming rights for the team. Teams will design their own vehicle liveries based on their discretion and sponsorship agreements.
The teams may sell merchandise, branded apparel, accessories, and other collectibles.
Prize money for the Champion
The ArcaBoard World Champion pilot will receive prize money, the value of which will be announced six months before the start of each championship.
Revenue for the teams
ArcaSpace sells broadcasting and streaming rights. A substantial part of the revenue is distributed to the teams based on their performance. A portion of the ArcaBoard World Championship profits is shared among the teams, with the distribution influenced by the team's final position in the Championship.
Expenses
Although the racing hardware will be provided to the teams in full factory support in the first season, the teams are also encouraged to secure sponsorship agreements to cover the costs of team members’ salaries, travel, lodging, insurances for the team members and pilots, and other expenses associated with participating in the championship.
Where possible, the organizers will cover travel and accommodation costs, depending on local sponsorship agreements, as our primary mission is to assist teams in reducing costs.
