Category Creation
Just as in the history of technology and industry there have been pivotal moments when a single name defined an entire class, like Xerox for copiers, or Jeep for off-road vehicles, today we are witnessing the birth of a new term in the global mobility lexicon: ArcaBoard, for multi-rotor vehicles that hover entirely above the ground at ultra-low altitude, in ground effect.
That is because it shares characteristics of a car, an aircraft, a hovercraft, and an ecranoplan, yet it is none of them. It is ArcaBoard.
