ABWC Update: 15 Pilots and 2 Private Teams in the Running for Season 1!

Interest in the world’s first electric ground-effect vehicle racing series is surging. To date, the championship has officially received 15 pilot applications for Squadron N10 and 2 official team registrations.
Pilot applications now cover over 60% of the total grid capacity for Season 1 (12 primary pilots + 12 reserves). Candidates include technology and motorsport enthusiasts from major Romanian hubs (Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Voluntari), as well as international applicants, such as from Passau, Germany.
Additionally, the first two private teams have submitted their registration requests from Târgu Jiu (21.08.2026) and Râmnicu Vâlcea (01.09.2026), preparing to join the factory teams on the Cosmobaza starting grid.
The selection process remains open, with grid access awarded strictly on athletic merit and technical proficiency at zero licensing cost for selected pilots and teams.
