⚠️ BREAKING NEWS: New ABWC Season 1 Guidelines Published: "Factory-Backed, Private Management" Model, Revised Points System

Following consultations with participating team leadership, ArcaSpace officially announces the publication of the new operational, technical, and commercial guidelines (ABWC Season 1 Official Guidelines).
This new edition marks a major strategic evolution for the world’s first hover-vehicle racing series, introducing a streamlined financial and technical framework designed to eliminate barriers to entry and ensure an intensely competitive starting grid.
Key Highlights:
1. Team Structure
"Factory-Backed, Private Management" Hybrid Model
The Championship officially adopts an integrated operating model: direct technical and factory support provided by ArcaSpace, combined with private operational management. This framework allows teams to focus exclusively on sporting performance, local sponsor acquisition, and driver management, leaving hardware development and maintenance to the manufacturer.
2. Single-Spec Battery Pack
Multiple battery options (Light and Heavy) for Season 1 have been removed in favor of a single-spec battery pack supplied to all teams by ArcaSpace. This measure guarantees absolute technical parity across the grid and eliminates the risk of unauthorized power tampering or calibration.
3. Removal of Minimum Hover Height Limits: A New Strategic Dimension
The restriction on minimum hover height during racing has been completely removed from the technical regulations. Pilots will have total dynamic freedom to exploit ground effect and the unique flight envelope of the ArcaBoard 2 to achieve maximum track speed and optimize energy consumption:
Strategy & Efficiency: Pilots can choose to skim the track surface at a minimal hover height along the straights to maximize the air-cushion effect and conserve battery energy.
Cornering Dynamics: Prior to entering turns, pilots must gain altitude to allow the vehicle to lean into the corner without risking track contact with the skirts or structure (as track contact incurs penalties).
This regulatory change will produce a true 3D "vertical dance" along the racing line, where pilot skill and energy management strategy will separate the winners from the rest of the field.
4. Exclusive Pit-Stop & Servicing by Series Officials
To ensure the highest aerospace safety standards and operational efficiency, all pit-stop operations and technical servicing during race events will be executed exclusively by authorized ArcaSpace technical personnel.
5. Updated Points System
Following team dialogue, the points distribution scale has been revised to an extended format (25-1 system), rewarding consistency and ensuring strong sporting stakes for every contested position on the track.
6. Fully Revised Financial Regulations: Free Hardware & Servicing Support for Season 1
The Financial Guidelines have been completely rewritten to reflect this new sustainability model: ArcaSpace provides full hardware support, spare parts, and technical servicing to all teams for the inaugural season. Unlimited financial exposure is eliminated, protecting private team investments and securing grid presence.
The traditional Cost Cap concept has been removed, as it is no longer necessary under this new team structure. Because the factory supplies all major components, teams are spared rigid administrative cost-auditing procedures.
