This is how the personal eVTOL vehicles industry got started!
This episode of the ArcaSpace Historical Archive shows the Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) tests that the team conducted for the ArcaBoard's propulsion system, as well as the initial integration of the equipment into the first prototype board.
Personal electric flying vehicles are slowly becoming a reality, but 10 years ago, when the original ArcaBoard made its first flight, it essentially kick-started the market for personal electric vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicles.
The footage was filmed on Sony RX100 IV, Panasonic GH5 and iPhone 6s.
