The first turn of the [01] GENESIS circuit is dedicated to the Romanian mathematician, astronomer, and educator Spiru Haret (1851–1912).

He became the first Romanian to earn a doctorate in Paris with a groundbreaking thesis in celestial mechanics, demonstrating the variability of the semi-major axes of planetary orbits and making a fundamental contribution to the stability of the Solar System. He was later elected a member of the Romanian Academy.

In this first turn of the [01] GENESIS circuit—an aerodynamic braking zone requiring precision trajectory recalibration through a 180° hairpin following top speed—we honor the rigor and vision of Spiru Haret, who proved that overall stability within a system with variables is possible.
