The final turn of the [01] GENESIS circuit is dedicated to one of the most influential astronomers of the 20th century, the American Edwin Hubble (1889–1953).



After first proving that galaxies exist beyond the Milky Way, Hubble made an epochal discovery: the Universe is not static, but in continuous expansion. His work provided the first direct observational evidence for the Big Bang Theory and forever altered the scale on which we understand the Cosmos, which is why humanity's most famous space telescope bears his name today.



In this final, the fastest turn of the [01] GENESIS circuit, that completes the lap and launches vehicles back onto the main start/finish straightaway, we honor the vision of Edwin Hubble, the man who proved that the Universe is continuously expanding.
